By the year 2025 a cure for death had been discovered. The human race had become immortal to natural death, causing severe overpopulation. The natural environment was practically destroyed. One the winter solstice of each year, mass murderers are released for a massive cull of the human population to help protect the naturally desolate Earth. This was the only way the human population could survive

Drought stricken and starving, a small Mayan community struggles to survive. Unbeknownst to them, the nobility had drained the last of the food and forced the peasants to hunt in the treacherous jungles for food. Looking for simple answers in a heavily religious community, sacrifices begin to increase in frequency but there is no change in the weather. In a last effort, the priests turn to Chenoa: a blessed child marked by the Gods themselves.

With the Earth destroyed and the Sun rapidly expanding, humanity needed to flee the solar system to survive. The whole community bands together and works tirelessly to finish their only hope of survival: a spacecraft fully equipped to carry them to a new planet that can sustain life.
